I know some of us were wondering how and why CDR dropped so far in the draft. I know we all had hear about his workouts being less than impressive... but according to this article he was actually skipping scheduled workouts and thats why he was passed by detroit...

well, he'll be happy. once VC is shipped out of NJ he'll have first dibs on SG PT unless they bring a SG back for him.

i'm really keen to see how the kid performs. he's one of my picks for late picks to make noise.

He was scheduled to work out for a lot of teams. I saw him in more stories about guys working out for teams than almost anyone.

I read a story online yesterday that said he was ticked off about falling so far. Said he was going to try to make every team that passed on him and took a shooting guard pay for it. The story named Orlando as one of the teams, but I don't know if he specifically said it. So we might have our next Magic killer.

I declare that there are no more "Magic Killers"!!!

Every now-and-then someone might have a big game against us, but they only get 1. (So saith Dwight Howard...The Enforcer!!!)

Well if he would of had better workouts he woudlnt have to worry about not being drafted until 40th. Everywhere he went we heard he had terrible workouts. Its his fault he dropped that far.

I would have rather had CDR i feel with our 1st or when he dropped maybe have even traded courtney lee for him and an earlier 2nd round pick could have worked

Return to Orlando Magic
