Were not low on him it's just that I think practically everyone realizes that he won't be the point guard when we win a ring. He's got 2 to 3 more good years left, and after that is when I expect us to be contenders.

Not sure if stefanski will try to get williams or not. If he doesn't that will speak volumes as to what he thinks about him.

SendEm, wtf is with your Roger Mason Jr. Hard on????

I also think you guys are too hard on Hinrich, the guy was a top 10 pick in the best draft of all time....The guy plays defense and can stretch the defense and run a team. He had ONE bad season.....it happens, add to the fact that Deng has hurt or sucked buauhs and the fact that the team itself was in complete dissaray with Skilles being a douchebag abotu **** liek headbands, Ben Wallace being old, and he actually playing out of position at the 2 spot because Skilles refused to start Gordon.........It hard to see why he wouldn't suck.

I don't give up on a guy who a year before was a top 10 point guard. That said, if we trade Miller, we'd get a backup and let Lou try his hand at running the point before we look for our PGOTF.

If you have at least a couple of franchise type guys (Thad, Iggy, and the player that we would get next summer with either Miller's cap room or the cap room of whoever we get in trade for Miller), I think you could win with Hinrich as the PG. He had a rough season last season - no doubt - but he had THREE pretty solid ones befor that, and the Bulls had a decent playoff run (with a very young team) in the '07 playoffs).

If we can't REALLY upgrade our PF position this summer with somebody like Brand or JSmith, I would view a deal where we got Hinrich (and shedded some salary for next summer) as a positive step for the future.

Felton has done JACK. You have NO CLUE if guys like MWilliams, Critt, Lowry, etc...are players - I'd rather have Lou as our PG than them.

Heinrich is not a bad idea. Chicago might give us a sweet deal to take him off their hands. He is still young as well, definately something to think about.

I wanted us to draft Marcus Williams 2 years ago but we failed. Obviously Stefanski knows him pretty well and I've wondered all along whether Ed would trade for him or not. I wonder if sixerfan knows anything about this?
