Shaq was just being Shaq. plain a simple. He might be bitter...

But I'm telling you. Right or wrong, Kobe put Shaq's business out in the streets. So he lost a lot of respect from me when he did that.

But Shaq should let it go. Maby he had to much to drink?? I don't know.

My thoughts, exactly. Probably had too much to drink, but Shaq really needs to let it go.

Hating on Kobe's success, while dealing with his dwindling career and divorce must have Shaq in a real sorry state of mind.

The worst thing about that "rap" was Shaq dissing a man who:

Has the most MVPs in NBA history.
Has the most All D team selections in NBA history.
Has the most All NBA team selections in NBA history.
Has scored the most points in NBA history.
Has the most all star selections in NBA history.
Has 3 CONSECUTIVE seasons where he beat Shaq's career highs in RPG, APG, SPG and BPG (beat all 4 in all 3 seasons). Would most likely be 5 in a row had they recorded steals and blocks early in Kareem's career.
Has 4 seasons where he averaged more points than Shaq's career high.
Has 7 seasons where he averaged more rebounds than Shaq's career high.
Has 3 seasons where he averaged more blocks than Shaq's career high (and blocks weren't even counted for 4 of Kareem's prime years).
Has 7 seasons where he averaged more steals than Shaq's career high (and steals weren't even counted for 4 of Kareem's prime years).
Has 10 seasons where he averaged more assists than Shaq's career high.
Has 1 season where he shot better than Shaq's career high in FG% (though Shaq has the advantage in this category overall).
Has 20 seasons where he shot better than Shaq's career high in FT%.
Has 9 seasons where he shot better than Shaq's career high in True Shooting Percentage.

Basically a player who was better than Shaq in EVERY aspect of basketball save for dunking. With that one exception there is nothing prime Shaq does better than prime Kareem on a basketball court. Nothing.

LOL! I love it. See this is what those shaq kids don't get. Their idol is an idiot. For all of shaq's so called dominance. He is nowhere near being the best big man or player to ever play the game. They say it was all in jokes, but let someone like kobe or lebron go at jordan or magic like that. the shaq homers would think they should be thrown in jail.

Why hasn't Kobe responded? He needs to stop being a punk. Don't let Shaq talk like that about you, Kobe. I'll be expecting Kobe's freestyle response within the next week.

Kobe Bryant won't discuss Shaquille O'Neal

Bryant's response to former teammate Shaquille O'Neal's lambasting him in an obscenity-laced rap freestyle at a New York nightclub?

No response.

"I didn't take it any kind of way whatsoever," Bryant said Saturday, before declining to take any more questions on the topic.

Bryant, however, was more than willing to discuss several other subjects as the U.S. men's basketball team held a one-day mini-camp in preparation for the Beijing Olympics.

there is alot of Shaq bashing on here. Calling him fat, lazy, bitter, etc...
Granted he was wrong, but if somebody puts you're business on the
street like Kobe did, would you be bitter to? and if you know Shaq
he was just having fun.. that's it

Sure he can be bitter all he wants to but it doesn't change the fact that Kobe isn't to blame for his divorce that would be Shaq and Shaunie themselves. Its absurd to say otherwise. I mean notice how Shaq hasn't denied what Kobe said about him. I mean if its a lie wouldn't he be able to sue Kobe or something?

Nobody is bothered by Shaq hating Kobe folks are bothered that its always everyone else's fault but his own and how the media rarely if at all calls him out on his crap. At least that's my issue.

I'm getting so sick and tired of people saying Kobe put Shaq's business out in the street. Hell all the man did was make a off the record comment out loud in the presence of the detectives. The comment was, " I should've did what Shaq did and paid her off ".

The Eagle Police Department was desperate for anything they could use against him so they let it out.
It wasn't like Kobe went running to every damn person he knew repeating the BS.

Some you guys who call yourself men need to man up and stop using that punk ass excuse. I've seen like one or two post on every page saying that crap. Man up damn it. And it wasn't like what he said wasn't true but I guess y'all forgot about about the time Shaq paid off a women in Orlando in a assault case.

Some of y'all act like women in a abusive relationship, you wanna stay in no matter what.

See that's the excuse for shaq everytime he does something. Oh he was just having fun. Bullchit. Shaq is a jealous little punk who always hates on others success. He is two faced and got exactly what he deserved. Face it the reason shaq is getting divorced is because his trainer hit it better than him. Also let's not forget that a well known groupie also said shaq was sleeping with her and paying her bills while he was married.
