The thing I like the most about Randolph is how he kept mentioning my favorite word...championship. He wants rings, "lots of 'em."

A C- for taking a kid with as much upside as any player in the draft and with the second pick one of the projected steals of the draft in Hendrix?

I agree. Wright doesn't need to shoot 3 points, but he does need to hit the mid-range on in. If Randolph works a lot on his handles and plays much more in control, he could end up being a match up nightmare for opposing teams.

Wright will shoot some 3 pointers this season. He may even make a few.

I'm not worried about wright shooting, wright can get to the rim willingly, with those long arms, and quick footwork. As for Randolph, I just hope that he doesn't think he can go into Chuck mode, cause he's on the warriors, Baron and Stephan may have a terrible effect on the Rookie, and may prolong his game.

That's right brown..That's the #1 reason why weve got to dump BoomFizzle now instead of waiting till the deadline or the summer of 09

Re: With the 14th pick, GS selects Anthony Randolph
Baron's giving me bad vibes for this season, he's looking for the lucrative contract, so I expect him to try to fill the stat sheet everynight.. that means he's gonna be playing the Bad Baron role, were he tries to add as many points as possible, with a couple of easy passes here and there.. but I'm not feeling it this year from him.. His off season habits kind of scare me to, it seems like he's more focused on his movie life, then his basketball career, i havne't heard much from his side, were it says that Baron has been focusing on playing basketball. He said it himself, he's doing the movie thing right now, then comes basketball...
SO relating that towards our boie A.R, there's no way I would want our "team leader", our "teacher" to be a bad influecne on our "student", "rookie"... might kill his whole nba career.
OR it might be all for the good, and the more Randolph thinks playing forhimself is good, the better. ? ( i doubt)

Baron hasn't turned anyone into a chucker. All these guys either aren't, or already were pre-Baron. Monta has developed nicely alongside Baron.

If Baron wasnt a chucker, all these cast-offs would never be allowed to chuck chuck chuck.floppymoose wrote:Baron hasn't turned anyone into a chucker. All these guys either aren't, or already were pre-Baron. Monta has developed nicely alongside Baron.
Coach can't do much about the chucking until our max player isnt a chucker.

Randolph was number 6 on Phoenix's draft board.
If we deal him or Wright, I'm gonna lose it.

I'm lovin this kid! He was real good on the radio with Ralph and Tom also.
I've seen a few of his game now and his intensity on the court is great. he wants the ball in crunch time. but it's great to see his jovial side as well. Growing up in military families seems to raise some real good kids.
Hendrix being the son of a coach is also a good deal. He seems really cool and sounds like he's willing to work.
Great draft this year.
