I agree with Ex-hippie there, the Seahawks were the better team, but the Steelers were the hotter team. Much like this past Super Bowl.

The 49ers franchise has to be ahead of the Cowboys. They were the first franchise to 5 Superbowl wins, also being a perfect 5-0 in Superbowl games. Two hall of fame quarterbacks in Montana and Young. All time best reciever in Jerry Rice. "The Catch" against Dallas, Montana's game winning drive against the Bengals in the Superbowl, Steve Young throwing a Superbowl record 6 touchdowns against the Chargers, a 18 game win streak on the road, etc. etc. etc.
1. San Francisco 49ers
2. Pittsburgh Steelers (Their defense was more impressive than the Cowboy's O)
3. Dallas Cowboys
The rest of your list is legit

well the cowboys still lead all franchises with 8 superbowls appearances and are tied with the most superbowl wins, went 20 straight years with a winning record, have the most postseason appearances too
you take out a 15 year period of the 49ers, they arent anything when you look at there entire history, cowboys have had 2 runs of dominance and possibly a 3rd.
if we're talking just the superbowl era maybe i could understand it but i still dont buy it

I hope I haven't gone colorblind overnight, because I can't see the green font.
There's no green font because it shouldn't count. How can you properly compare teams when they weren't playing in the same league?
