The New Shaq & Penny????

I really hope Cory comes to Orlando. Howard is one of my favorite players and I think he deserves a shot at the title.

Sorry but the only aspect of Corey's game that has any resemblance to Penny is I guess the scoring ability, but besides that I don't see many similarities between Penny and Corey. Now the Shaq-Dwight comparison actually makes sense.

We'll have a big four. Boston will be no match.

Who is the Penny version?

Who is the Shaq version?

LOL.

1) Movement 2) Application of fundamentals 3) Predictability

Penny was an All-NBA First teamer.

Maggette has never made an all-star team.

Corey's a really good player though, and I hope the Magic pursue him. But no, no new Shaq & Penny.

That's what I thought this thread was about when I opened it.

I really don't see the Penny & Maggette comparison, and this talk of a "big four" is somewhat questionable too IMO. Nontheless, I'd love to get Maggette here, hope he comes. Can Rashard last at least another year at PF?

Yep, more so when you think Penny had outstanding playmaker skills and a sick court vision, while Maggette is essentially a volume scorer and physical player. That said, he'd be a huge upgrade if he comes around.

Completely different players, but CM would at least be a legitimate back court player.

Return to Orlando Magic
