Yeah- Philly sure is lucky that they will be used by Brand's agent to get him the money he wants from the Clippers or Heat.

I'm hoping this distracts Philly long enough to get Smith re-signed.

I don't think it's really matters much. Josh Smith wants to be a Hawk but the ASG are going to play poker with him and his agent. I fully expect the ASG to match any offer(s) but Josh won't receive a max from anyone.

Philly will have a shot at Elton, but I don't think it's likely they sign him, and it's more likely they he's traded too Miami.

How does this sound to you kb. The sixers make perfunctory moves towards Brand and Smith but both end up with their old teams so Stef signs the guy he wanted all along in Maggette allowing him to say that, as promised, they ended up with a "good player" who fills a need as Maggette has "go-to scorer" capabilities.

As a Sixers fan, I think of acquiring Maggette and blow chunks.

Stephen A. Smith is saying that Philly isn't interested in Brand at the max because of the health concerns. Just wanted to throw that in there.
