Seriously, Portland fans are the only ones that care about Rudy Fernandez.

It took Calderon, arguably the most effective euro guard in the NBA right now, a couple seasons to gain recognition and a starting spot, even with gaudy statistics. Saru was one of the best guards in the euroleague before he came to the states and bombed. It goes both ways. Saying Rudy was a 12th man was hyperbole. He will *probably* be a rotation player. He won't be a sixth man, you need more energy or experience to take that role. 6th man will probably be in the frontcourt, since Oden is young and coming off an injury, and LaMarcus is still developing as well. My point was that the only people who care about Rudy coming over are Blazers fans. Look who's posting in this topic. Blazer fans. If you get in a discussion about what moves the Blazers were making before the draft, they would all rave about how Rudy's supposed to come over and make a huge impact. Nobody else ever talks about Rudy. It's just not a topic for the GB.

Thanks for educating us, o' wise one. What could we do without you. I'll bump this thread next season.
