I'm cool with keeping James. He doesn't make a lot of money and can be a serviceable player off the bench.

He accepted the offer. For him the right thing to do and i guess i dont mind having back a player that knows the system be in our inactive list.

The team begins practice on Wednesday night at RDV Sportsplex. Games begin Monday night at the sportsplex. Augustine, the Magic's second-round pick in 2006, accepted the Magic's tender offer for about $700,000.

Well, this validates this thread as un-lockable!

Augustine was wise to accept this low-ball offer (or he'd be in Serbia et al. next year). For the Magic, yes they get a cheap player, but now, the roster only has 14 other slots.

A ying-yang view of next year's roster. Still, GM Smith's job got a lot easier even if the Magic roster is not improved.

I'm an Auggie fan too. He seems to be a great practice squad player, plays well when he gets a chance to be in a game, and has a great attitude about his situation. Just what you want at the end of the bench.
