I hate his game and I wouldn't want him..but if it's just Bonner and 2nd round picks, I'd obviously take it..

And to follow-up on the big men, I think it's a good possibility we'll sign one of those guys... either with part of the MLE or the veteran mininum (to who it applies).

The Kings found a way to keep Beno Udrih in Sacramento despite competition from the Clippers, according to ESPN.com's Chad Ford.

Udrih and the Kings have verbally agreed to terms on a five-year contract worth the full mid-level exception, according to a source.

"I am so happy and honored to be returning to the Kings," Udrih told ESPN.com. "They took a chance on me and believed in me. I can't wait to get back to my teammates and the city that has become home to me."

Mike Dunleavy flew to New York at midnight on Monday night to speak with Udrih, but in the end he decided to remain with Sacramento.

Really great for Beno

For the Kings, he'll continue be a pretty good short-term solution at PG. Which is what I see him of more as (wouldn't rule out being more than that, depending how the team and style develops).

I'd say that's around the right deal (probably a bit over-paid), with how he emerged so significantly this past year. It was a contract year, but generally, I just can't expect there to be drop-off, if anything, I think he'll improve.

The Spurs are expected to talk with Michael Finley, Kurt Thomas and Robert Horry about returning to the team next season, according to The San Antonio Express-News.

They are all unrestricted free agents this summer.

"The question is, can we find something both sides can live with?" said Spurs coach Gregg Popovich. "In the end, it comes down to years and money."

However, there are rumors that the team is looking to get younger through free agency.

"The ‘getting younger’ thing is overblown," Popovich added. "If we knew Manu would stay healthy, Timmy (Duncan) would stay healthy and Tony (Parker) would stay healthy, we’d bring back the same doggone team. And if any of those guys are not healthy, we’re not going to win a championship anyway."

http://basketball.realgm.com/src_wireta ... and_horry/

I would have to think this is being diplomatic, and would be a contradiction to the "we know we have to get younger" comments last month.

Regardless, I think it's only a matter of time till we get a couple younger, more agile players on the team with the MLE (or one good player).

Thomas I can definitely see back, Horry as well, Finley only as more of a deep bench guy, and less of a regular.

Thats a perfect trade for you guys. He makes like 3 mill next year. Start him alongside Duncan, the kid can rebound very well and has a good inside-outdie game. Moreover, he is a good passer and will improve SA's inside passing in the paint. Has a good jump hook in the low post, a good turnaround jumper in the high post, is a good ball handler for his 6'11" size and can slash a to the rim with runnin floaters and dunks, sure his defense ain't all that great, but whoever plays on the milwaukee team looks even worst defensively cuz their guards don't play any defense putting more pressure on their bigs in help situations and don't rotate well at all. I am sure he'll do well in pop's system. The kid can score, with the best of them. and he's still only 23. The spurs need a scorer besides Tony, Manu and Duncan and charlie can do that. And contrary to the popular belief, he doesn't park his ass on the 3-pt line all the time. In the games he started for milwaukee this year, only 20% of his shots were 3 pt attempts.

His stats starting for milwaukee this year: 15 PTS, 8 RBS, 43.5% FG, 32% 3PT in 30 MPG.

Might as wel try him for one year and if it doesn't work out, let him walk. But if it does, he'll probably re-sign for something around 6-7 mill per based on the production above.

He is a good kid overall, nice guy and nice character. Would fit in well with SA's lockerroom.

A couple of videos for those who haven't seen him play enough:

Well the thing is that I expect the Bucks to ask for more... a first round pick that we don't have.

Baron Davis could be a Clipper soon, with Brand returning...

The Clippers have been speaking with Baron Davis for much of Tuesday afternoon hoping to lock up the free-agent point guard to a multiyear deal, according to a team source.

Davis chose free agency and the Clippers, who would have about $10 million in salary space if they renounce their rights to free-agent Corey Maggette, began targeting Davis today, according to the team source.

The team could also find more cap space if they resign Elton Brand to a lesser annual price than the $16.4 million he was owed next season before he also opted for free agency Monday.

A deal could be reached by Wednesday, according to the source.

Would be another serious, good team in the west... as long as they stay healthy, gel pretty well, and firstly do more work on the supporting cast (defense on the wings, and interior help up front). That'd be a fun team to watch, and I really like some of their players.

Wow... that is a big development and it indirectly effects us given that they can now consider making offers to Pietrus and Azabuke when they would have surely let them go if Baron stayed.

Wishful thinking... I think he will get a bigger contract by sign and trade or someone signing him outright.

Baron to the Clip Show

Baron Davis shocked the Warriors by opting out of his contract on Monday. Imagine their surprise now.

NBA front-office sources told ESPN.com's Marc Stein that the guard reached a verbal agreement with the Clippers on Tuesday night and will sign a new multiyear contract with Los Angeles after the leaguewide moratorium on signings and trades is lifted July 9.

Davis was in line to make $17.8 million in the last year of his deal with the Warriors, but after telling the team that he wanted to stay, opted out at the last minute.

Sources told ESPN.com that Davis, 29, will receive a five-year deal worth an estimated $65 million.

Forward Elton Brand also opted out of his contract with the Clippers on Monday, and speculation quickly began that the team would try to keep Brand and sign Davis. This scenario is only possible if the Clippers renounce the rights of Corey Maggette and Brand takes a slight pay cut.

Sources say the Clippers are expected to do just that and quickly reach a verbal agreement to bring back Brand.

Maggette opted out of his deal on Monday as well.

Davis averaged 21.8 points, 7.6 assists and 4.7 rebounds last season for a Warriors team that won 48 games but did not make the playoffs.

Woah

Brand is next...

Really good job by the Clip Show here in getting back into the thick of things.. Brand needs to be in the playoffs again.

They're going to be fun and interesting to watch.

Post-up city...

Baron, Mobley, Thornton, Brand, Kaman, Gordon, Paul Davis (to a lesser degree)

Now that Maggette has been renounced (or shortly will) to make room for them to resign Brand. How likely is it the spurs can get Maggette. Has there been any interest in the past by the spurs FO?

^^^ Out of all our unsigned FA, he's the one I least wanted to see go to another team.

We better not re-sign Horry.

Orl dangling $10M at Duhon (per wiretap)??! WTF??! Didn't they already overpay for a FA last offseason?
