Just wondering if this is enough to get JJ. It is a high price to pay, but I think I would do it for the Clippers.

We aren't dealing JJ, but you are trying to get the price right.

this is very very fair, just a good flat out trade, but i wouldn't do this trade just because it just doesn't blow me away and i would like a Joe trade to blow me away. if the Clips drafted Bayless then it would be really hard for me to say no to such a trade.

It's getting close to fair, but Mobley has really fallen off of late. Also not sold on Eric Gordon long term (would like Bayless more). If the rumored Crawford deal went through and became a 3-way offer of Kaman, Crawford, and Gordon for JJ, Zaza, and a 1st well then I would be really interested.

^Then how about this:

Clippers Get: JJ/Zaza/'09 First (Top 10 Protected until 2012) from ATL
Clippers Give: Kaman/Mobley/Rights to Eric Gordon

Knicks Get: Mobley/Claxton
Knicks Give: Crawford/Jeffries

Hawks Get: Kaman/Crawford/Jeffries/Rights to Eric Gordon
Hawks Give: JJ/Zaza/Claxton/'09 First (Top 10 Protected until 2012)

Its not fair because Chris Kaman sucks. I know people are enamored with that good half a season he played last year, but he still sucks, he will continute to suck and will suck in the future.

I sucky big, a undersized shooting guard and a near the end of his career shooter are not a fair price for Joe Johnson. He is a elite player. Offering up a bunch of subpar players does not get you an elite player unless said player has demanded a trade and the team is looking for cap space.

You are quite an evaluator of talent. There are big men who get paid a lot more to do a lot less than Kaman.
