LeBron to Nets; Wade to Knicks in 2010 Guaranteed?

Yeah, everyone is saying how the nets will be under the cap, they may...if they dont sign anyone else and suck for 2 years have 10-12 million under the cap, a deal starting around that and Cleveland could potentially offer him over $100 million more than NJ.

Also, the cavs may be over $30 million under the cap in 2010...resign lebron and bring in bosh/melo/wade....

It's 2008, and as of yet the Brooklyn Nets have no arena. They haven't even broken ground yet.

So it remains to be seen if the Nets even make it to Brooklyn within the next 5 years, let alone if Lebron gets there.

On the other side i have no doubt that Ronaldinho would play well again if he was transfered to Manchester City where he could concentrate on football ^^

I suppose it's the same in the US .. You don't pass on Miami or La where you get the girls and the sun. Only New york has the quality girls but not quite the climate. But i noticed that Basketball players seem to be more "down to earth" when it comes to girls, young marriage and often with bad looking high school sweet heart ! Maybe they just don't understand what they can get, they should take a look at these european athletes' wives :p

I think Lebron going to the Nets is a strong possibility. They guy keeps throwing out clues to the media. The Nets are starting to clear the cap space for him now and build a talent around him. The Nets could use Carters contract to get a another young player or draft pick and a contract that expires soon. Clearing more space and bringing in more talent to develop. I mean if the Nets have a team in place that is looking real good and offer James a contract or so that James could get his contract make a sign and trade using that young talent it will open up the possiblilty of James going to the Nets.

Another team that I would keep an eye on would be the Blazers. If the Blazers youth develop and they are as far under the cap as they are I could see either Wade or James going there.

Lebron to NYC (Either Knicks or Nets) is almost guaranteed. He has much higher aspirations than just basketball, he's actively looking to get into business and advertising and being a "global icon." So of course, NYC is the best place to do this.
Wade to NY is very very doubtful. I don't see him leaving Miami and if he did it would be to play in Chicago.

He is already a "global icon" and there is no way the local endorsements he'd get from playing in NYC would make up the massive difference in his contract.
