I'm interested to see what happens with the Baron and the Clips. A lot questions will have to be answered.

Can Baron play another season over 70 games injury free?

How will Baron Davis play now that he's not in a run and gun system that rejuvenated his career?

Will Baron get along with Mike Dunleavy Sr? Other then Paul Silas and Nellie, Baron has clashed heads with a lot of past head coaches.

LOL Baron Davis will not get into a big injury slump. That's why I hate how there's 3 threads about Baron Davis and the Clippers here; I made a somewhat big post as to why Baron won't be injury prone in one thread, and then in the other 2 threads I see people with the same conversation.

Great day in Clippersland...

Like I said in our Bucks' forum, this might make it easier for Brand to return to LA. But even if he does not, you could sign and trade Brand to the Heat for Shawn Marion and Udonis Haslem and
move Brand and Mobley to Pat Riley...

Or you could keep Brand yourself...

But either way with the oncoming bigtime contributions of sensation Al Thornton and rookie of the year canidate Eric Gordon (C DeAndre Jordan was a steal by the way...) this team will be able to run and have some fun with Baron Davis at the PG position!

Add Marion on the wing, Kaman, Davis, and Haslem to rebound, Thomas off the bench and some role players splitting up time at SG the easiest spot to fill or leave to Gordon, and this team can take off!

Without Brand:

SF Marion (Hypothetical. Contingent on cheap Clips actually spending money and taking gamble.)
PF Haslem (Throw in...Beast on the boards.)
C Kaman (All Underatted monster...Most Improved over last 3 years in entire league?)
PG Davis (Perhaps bring in Sam Cassell again as player/coach ?)
SG Gordon (Instant Superstar like Monta Ellis next to Baron Davis! Household name in LA market.)
F Thornton (Future beast in this league. If you don't get Marion start him with Brand?)
G Ross (Loss of Maggette and assumingly Mobley via trade...But Gordon has to play anyways.)
F Thomas
PG Cassell (Put Knight, Dickau, or loooooooooooooongshot Shaun Livingston here? Many options.)
PF Davis
C Jordan (Great draft picks...Or Josh Powell)

Nice ballclub I say....

With Brand:

SF Thornton
PF Brand
C Kaman
PG Davis
SG Gordon
F Thomas
G Mobley
PF Davis
G/F Ross
C Powell

Not a bad rotation...

Great all around signing the Clippers definately moved up into the top 6 of the West maybe even better.
What's even better in this situation is that now Dallas have even less chances to make the playoffs and Kidd will finally learn that karma is a ****.
It would suck to see AI miss the playoffs though..........
