Well I'd say that the Clippers are definitely in the run for a playoff spot.

1. Lakers
2. Jazz
3. Hornets
4. Spurs
5. Hornets
6. Rockets
7. Blazers

Fight for the last spot:
Mavs, Suns, Nuggets, Clippers, and Warriors

Talk about a lot of teams in the run. Basically the only teams in the west with no real chance to make it are Memphis, Seattle, and Sacramento, and even Sacramento is a team that's not far from being a .500 team.

We have to see if they make any more moves, but this team looks like a playoff team in the West, and that's nothing to sneeze at.

I don't think they'll be a title contender once the playoffs begin, but in the West, you never know what will happen.

i can't understand why portland is so clearly going to be ahead of the clips. kaman/brand aren't exactly going to be outplayed by oden/aldridge. davis and stud youngsters like thornton/gordon matchup well with roy and youngsters.
