SEATTLE -- After a testy six-day trial that wrapped up last week, fans, city officials and the Sonics owners are waiting for U.S. District Court Judge Marsha Pechman's ruling, which she plans to post on the court's Web site at 4 p.m.
Seattle claims the Sonics have to fulfill a "specific performance" clause and play out the lease at the arena. The Sonics claim the city should get nothing but exhaust fumes from back of moving vans because of shameful tactics to drain team owner Clay Bennett financially. Negative vibes outnumbered courtroom occupants.
The Sonics asserted Bennett should be able to write a check to satisfy the final two years of the lease because this is a garden-variety dispute between tenant and landlord and specific performance should not apply.
"You have given me a lot to consider," Pechman told both sides after closing arguments ended Thursday afternoon. "Stay tuned."
I heard on ESPN that the decision will be posted on some website for everyone to read, it won't come in a courtroom like usual...which website is that?
basically it all comes down to this: does this man look like a honest person yes or no?

scary man
but what is lost in all of this mess, is the honorable fans of Seattle, like our man Paul Brogan
