Is there anything at all interesting between Crosstimbers and 1960? Seems like a massive collection of suburban ennui.

It depends on where you want to work and what you like to do. Where I live I am close to 290, 610 and 45 so it gives me leeway to beat traffic if I work in the galleria, by the beltway on 290 or as far as the woodlands.

I live near Rice University...compared to the rest of the city it's a bit more expensive, but in general this city is much cheaper than just about any other, same goes for the state of Texas.

I'm moving up North next year, though, that's going to hurt.
