As an arkansas fan I know all about Sonny. He was the Most gifted player on the team this season. Very Athletic and can score the ball. He's got good range and is very unselfish at the offensive end. But the best thing he brings is that great man to man defense.

I read somewhere that he had a very good mid-range game as well. I'm not quite ready to write of the FO on this move.

those highlights were phenomenal. if this guy is so good why wasnt he drafted earlier. He looks like a great athlete. The two plays that i enjoyed the most were the 2 blocks. Is this guy fo real?

I saw him play 6 times. He is a hot and cold player. He seemed to play better in home games that I watched. He can fall in love with outside shot. Arkansas was an uptempo team, but I did not like their defense, especially on the road.

You Got to watch more than 6 games to realize what kind of player someone is.

Defensively, Weems is extremely poor, clearly lacking awareness and fundamentals, not getting in any type of real stance, getting lost within his team’s scheme on a regular basis, and often resorting to just gambling for steals and chasing after the ball instead of rotating and playing sound defense. He has all the tools to be extremely effective in this area, so it’s a bit surprising why he can’t translate them into success on this end of the floor. His junior college roots likely have a lot to do with it.
