That dunk reminds me of that Gerald Green dunk where TA tossed it off the backboard for him on a fast break

Haha, I already can't wait to see him and Walker dunking this year. Any chance one of them goes to the Dunk Contest? I think it's almost guaranteed one of them goes...

I watched that on TV live, but honestly did not even remember that Giddens was the one who threw it down. Pretty sick. Hopefully he can do more than that for us; G-Money was entertaining, but added no value to us whatsoever other than trade bait.

Re: J.R. Giddens does the Carlton Dance
He did that jumping off one foot instead of two.
May seem insignificant, but it's not. These days, the "big jumpers" are two footed set jumpers who have to gather themselves. One foot jumpers don't have to "gather" themselves. Doing that off one foot, with the proper use of the the swing leg is actually something pretty special which translates to the NBA game (a dribble/drive is much more cohesive and smooth if you can jump off one leg, then get your shot off). Yea, I'm a track and field guy. The high jumpers and long jumpers go off one leg.
Jordan usually went off one leg - Dominique used two.

We thought that for GG his rookie season. It all depends on how many times he dunks, and how many times he makes sportscenter.

I like his former teammate's dunk at the end better.
