man that was a great game, wish i was there

i was just getting into the 2 out of 3 isnt bad mentality when we ripped off 6 runs in the 7th, wild

Yeah, I was telling my son that this just doidn't look like our day into the seventh inning.

Francona (Sox fans call him Fran COMA) really messed up late though. The last sequence was bizarre imo.

Calling a hit and run with a batter (Varitek) that has K'd 16 times in his last 48 ab's, and having a runner (Lowell) that runs the 40 in a day and a half. Aggressive, but in a dumb way.

It's a long season, and just one of several of the ups and downs yet to come.

The Red Sox had lost 8 of 10 when the Rays were surging. They too are human (but still maybe the team to beat).

Right now, the bats are dead and defense a bit sloppy. The 4 days off should help.
