according to someone else's post in this thread, his friend was hosting it with his name in it. So the event was the Dwight Howard blah blah blah. So i imagine he had agreed to show up.

im guessing they are friends or something.

Dwight was there to coach his tournament team, it was his team and basically i think it was a charity event.
