1) Tough one, I'd say Duhon is the better player simply based on his playmaking, but then again he isn't much of a scorer that Dooling is.

2) I'd say Duhon is the slightly better defender then Dooling

3) Give me Duhon, his play making is really good, and he is a perfect player that you'd want coming off the bench. Then again the bench thing can be used for Dooling too, based on his scoring. Tough choice lol.

pace-adjusted per-40 numbers:

Code: Select all

Player        PTS  REB  AST  STL  BLK   TO eFG%  TS%  PER
dooling,keyo 17.2  3.0  3.9  1.1  0.1  1.8 .494 .572 14.0
duhon,chris  10.3  3.1  7.0  1.3  0.0  1.9 .465 .508 11.1

Dooling is clearly the better scorer. Duhon is clearly the better passer. Duhon is also the better defender. I think you can make the case that Dooling is overall the better basketball player, but that's only if he is playing SG. As a PG, I'd want Duhon, no question.

Agreed. Duhon better as a backup PG, Dooling better as a backup SG.

In terms of both defense and offense.

duhon's obviously a better playmaker, but i'm just not buying him as the better defender.

people are seriously underestimating dooling's superior length and athleticism when it comes to defense.

Yeah, Dooling's defense is consistently solid. He was a good defender even in Miami. I get the feeling that Riles burned it into him.

1-2-3 Dooling all day...

But its not a good comparison... one's a PG, one isn't.

Like everyone has said...

The better "PG" is Duhon, but the better player is Dooling.

Duhon's shooting is just so brutal.
