http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-igP_XG- ... re=related - This one is actually hilarious, just found it.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b0KJvlSUB-w - Go to 1:47 in this one. Makes me question the NBA, one of the worst calls of all time (the ref was right there, perfect view :noway: ).
"I definitely knew he traveled, but I didn't know they were going to call it. That was one of them situations in which a great player made a move...and they called the call. And I was like, 'Oh, man, there is a God.'

Kings-Lakers brings a tear to my eye..how can the NBA/Stern do that to one of their own teams? completely screw the city of Sacramento, just so their precious Lakers could add another title..pathetic..it's an outrage that the media isn't talking about it anymore..at least Buss is used his money wisely..

Funny thing is if the ref was to stop those showtime dunks that were completely uncontested because of those travels, I bet many of you would be pissed. If i seen Bosh on a open fast break doing that steve franchise dunk and they called it off cause he took a couple extra steps, Id be kind of mad.

Francis took about 8 steps, then passed the ball to himself.....

Yea but it got the fans hype and was just a crazy play. Its one thing if its a tight game and its a contested play, but when there open, does it really all that matter?

What? That's ridiculous. I'd be pissed at Bosh for attempting something like that. Not at the refs for making the right call in that situation.

I love it when a player on my team manages a highlight play, but if it isn't done within the rules of the game then it doesn't count as more than a novelty. Like when a player throws up a half court shot long after the buzzer. It's still fun to watch, but should never affect the integrity of the game.

Now, I've only been watching since the 80's, but I honestly think the refs now are better than they ever were. The biggest difference is they get scrutinized far more now, so we spot all their mistakes.

Back in the day we were never so certain plays were a missed call because instant replays were more limited and there was no YouTube.

mike bibby obviously had is arms around kobe. The foul was on him before kobe even ran over him.

only from that angle..he definitely didn't use his arms enough to get that type of treatment, especially considering the other calls in the game..it just added up..

you can't just run over a player with your elbow..if that was Bruce Bowen, you guys would be asking for banishment,..

If you expect perfection in anything, then you'll be sorely disappointed. But, hey, you can always start a thread about it.
