Actually that is not true at all....I recall the Sacramento Kings announcers being very classy in their season finale against the Lakers.

Announcers are just an extension of ownership. If the owner wants homers, he will hire homers. If you have a problem with the announcers, the person you have beef with is really the owner and how he wants his team's games presented.

I made it a point to watch Lakers games at Portland with my PC muted. I just can't stand 5 mins of those announcers. They're on top of my hate list.

Yeah, I hate the Portland announcers the most in the league. It's like they're a bully trying to talk trash and get under your skin. They say some off the wall stuff like making fun of Phil Jackson for his chair and medical condition. DUDE HAD 2 HIP SURGERIES LEAVE HIM ALONE. It's not just the bias that bothers me from them, you can just tell they have some underlying motive to piss off Laker fans because they know this is the only way we can watch the Lakers game.

But the reason I really opened this thread is for the hype of next season. It's going to be awesome to watch some of these battles.

Look at Portland:
Fish/Farmar vs. Bayless/Blake
Kobe/Sasha vs. Roy/Fernandez
Odom/Ariza vs. Outlaw/?no offense but who else is there here Webster?
Gasol/Turiaf vs. Aldridge/Frye
BYNUM VS ODEN

I know the rosters aren't complete, but man these are two talented as hell teams. I can't wait to see Bynum vs Oden, I've been waiting since last season for this one. How about a season opener against Portland? But hell I also can't wait for Bynum vs Shaq so I don't care either way.
