Playing Duhon much more than 15 or 20 minutes a game is pretty disastrous.

i see this as the Knicks trying out a PG who can man the point half-decently this year, and next year. Particularly for next year, when Marbury is gone and they've shed enough to get under the cap. Unless they try to use his deal to package him with a Malik Rose this year and bring in a disgruntled star. Bringing him in also allows them to inject some young blood into the lineup, allowing for a more youth-oriented team, rather than a squad of overpaid veterans.

The expirings Donnie Walsh will have at his disposal this year and next will allow him to be very flexible and very active in the trade market. He's in a good position, and this move overall shouldn't have a negative effect.

its like they gave him the whole mid level because they just didnt want to worry about what to do with the remaining money if they signed him at the market rate lol

the knicks franchise are pathetic. that galinelli kid and then this guy. chris duhon!!!! I dont care how "flexible" his contract is. He is a career backup, he CANNOT help the knicks this year or next. stupid, stupid decision.

It's only two years, I really wouldn't care if Walsh signed him for the max, if it's only two years. The Knicks had to overpay, because Magic offered him a 3 year deal. Good signing.

The full MLE is a bad signing because he's not longer an asset to other teams. Wich means he can't be traded. That's the whole promblem with teh Knick franchise. There signing make all their players negatives in other franchises eyes and the Knicks loose any flexiability in trading wich they are going to need to do or find a franchise player by a diffrent means.

I guess they are going to hang onto Duhon for 2 years. If it's the full MLE I guess I can't be really mad at Duhon but it's kind of a **** move to just go for the money. He could of droped a couple overall but really helped a playoff team like ORL or maybe BOS.

The Knicks are making it pretty obvious that they are just setting up to make a run at Lebron.

One thing's for sure, LeBron would upset lots of people if he leaves Cleveland. If he leaves for a highmarket city, (NY LA), he is going to be loathed by his homestate of Ohio for chasing $$$. I don't know if he would take the risk.
