lets get artest we could do this trade
Rafer Alston 6-2 PG, Luther Head 6-3 PG / SG, Mike Harris 6-6, for Ron Artest 6-7

if we put artest on point with t-mack, battie, scola and ming that lineup would be killa, beside t-mack always carries the ball up the floor. then we can plug up a few holes on the bench through free agency and trades.

free agent pick up we should consider are
at the 1 any one of these players would help Flip Murray, Jason Williams, Sebastian Telfair, Carlos Arroyo, Keyon Dooling.
at the 2 spot J.R. Smith would be a nice addition off the bench if we get artest we dont need Corey Maggette.
at the 3 spot sf off the bench i would love to see rickey davis good at both ends of the floor or Bonzi Wells again and James Posey if we cant get the other two.
we could keep the 4 spot the same even if we cant sighn Landry, if we do hays is out via trade.
for back up to ming and mutombo Theo Ratliff or Kurt Thomas would be wicked if not then any one of these would do, Kwame Brown, Nenad Krstic, , Primoz Brezec,

i would not call this a dream you never know something like this could happen i cant see why not if boston the lakers can do it and still find time to add more why cant the rockets

You're right about one thing: I sure as hell wouldn't call it a dream. I think nightmare is the more appropriate word in this scenario.

And on a related note: Did you seriously just suggest that we make Ron Artest the starting point guard on this team?

Someone tried to bash me for asking "what's up with all the ballboys coming in lately and making really ludicrous trade/fa proposals" a few weeks ago. Maybe it's just normal offseason. I just don't remember there being quite this many last year.

Artest on the team is bad enough. Artest at the point? Quite simply the worst idea I've ever seen on this site.

Artest on this team is stupid idea. who would want to win a championship? why would we want an explosive scorer and lockdown defender. horrible horrible idea to get artest lol

Ted,
W/all due respect,the Kings are signing Udrih to a full MLE contract. They are not trading Artest for another vet PG.
Teams are not allowed to sign FAs or make trades until July 9.

I really dont see artest or T-mac playing the 1! To get Artest anyway would have to involve either Battier, Landry or Scola I would think? Why else would they do the deal if other guys are involved cos they certainly dont want any of our pgs after signing Udrih to the MLE.
