And of course, every one of them is a Blazers homer, nevermind the countless Blazer fans in the thread saying Wade, and the few non-Blazer fans who said Roy. Whatever.

What? Where did I say it bothered me? I was laughing at it.

Do you see people laughing on TV at a comedy show and think: Wow, I wonder why that bothers them so much? They're laughing so much- why are they so bothered?! I mean, what's so hard to understand? Something is really funny and so I'm laughing at it. Where does 'bother' come into play?

I think people are judging potential on age, not predraft measurements.

I think Gay has more room to devleop than Roy, but I am unsure as to whether he will wind up a better player. Roy may be close to his ceiling, especially considering the seemingly endless number of assets they try to pile on each season, which may hamper his scoring contribution. In the end I think they will be very similar players. I expect to see this comparison a lot in the coming years, and I have a tendency to think this will become a matter of preference.

I think Roy will be the better player, but Gay will have better stats (although I expect him to be a much better defender, he has all the tools to get it done)
Thank you for all the memories BRoy. You were a class act and brought hope to an entire region for 5 years. You will be missed.

Okay, that's it. I've officially had enough of your homerism, which seemingly pervades every topic on RealGM. You've earned your way onto my ignore list.

I don't care if you watched 82 games (which you didn't), that doesn't prove that Roy gets triple-teamed, which he never does. If you saw every Blazers game this season and thought Roy consistently saw triple teams, that's just a testament to how little you actually grasp from watching a basketball game.

QFT

This guy has had his homer machine locked on automatic for a few days now. I don't understand how someone can go onto a forum with the name of their favorite player/players as their handle and expect to have any credibility when all they do is go around posting about their favorite players.

There isn't a player in this league that gets triple teamed on anything resembling a consistent basis, not even the Kobes and LeBrons and D-Wades of the world, and they are miles and miles better than Brandon R---oh, wait......that's right, Roy>Wade

Do you realize you act just as stupid with your posts? Aren't you the one who also said you wold not mind if Oden was hurt in the "top ten" thread? If so and I am pretty sure it was you, you are one classy guy... Why is it that people want to make up things now to make Blazer fans look bad? They want to pretend we all said Roy>Wade, but for the most part we did not. Just stop posting if you are going to make things up.
