I want Benson solely because we'll probably have a better sense of what it's like in the locker-room with him blogging constantly and what not.

^Yeah I'd like him here too. Might have that energy x-factor we've lacked since Bo...(not that he was a game changer, but you'd have a hard time finding anyone who didn't cheer when Outlaw checked in)

Why not take a flyer on him? Worst case scenario is that he struggles and goes back to the NBDL...best case is he develops into a Varejao/young Ben Wallace type rebound/hustle guy

I read a lot of good stuff on Benson. Cool. He might be a better option (and cheaper) option than Marks.

That sucks and doesn't make sense. Why would Phoenix have him on their roster and now Toronto have him? If the Suns let him off to go play for Toronto's summer league, that sucks big time because I wanted him to play with us and have a shot to make our team, especially since both teams are involved in the Vegas Summer League.

Called KTAR and they have no idea. Calling the Suns now to find out. Stay tuned.

Ok. Called the Suns and they said he will not be going with the Suns, he is now going with the Raptors to Vegas. The lady I talked to in the Coaches office said she just found out today and has no updates as to why he's not going with us.
