Just playing around with the Trade Checker and this one popped up as successful for me. It personally think it looks good for both teams. Mavs get Billups who worked with Carlisle, a young big man, expiring Lafrentz contract. Detroit gets a point guard thats still strong to push for playoffs again and a young Bass prospect. Portland who is close to playoff contention get Josh Howard and Dampier to solidy their roster with talent and playoff experience.

Re: Playing with Trade Checker Dal/Por/Det
I don't understand the direction with Billups, Prince (win immediatly players) and Aldridge (win soon, not this year, but soon player), but as unlikely as it is, i'd do it easily.
Portland Poasses easily.
Detroit passes because 1) they have Maxiell and would not value Bass the way we do and 2) Much of their offense is from the PG spot and Kidd = Diop, but at the PG spot instead of center.

Everyone but Dallas says no. But as far as 3 way trades go, its pretty good.

But, would we have enough pieces to trade for a SG?

Re: Playing with Trade Checker Dal/Por/Det
I doubt the Blazers would give Outlaw for Howard straight up due to age, contract and off-the-court issues. Aldridge is completely out of the question.
