I don't think Deron is that quick, he's just deceptive.

If you are talking strictly quickness than TJ Ford takes the cake. The downside to this is that he is often too quick for his teammates.

I'd say Ford, Ellis, Barbosa for top 3. I'm too lazy to do a top 25 but I'll also mention that LeBron and Marion are fast as hell but are easy to overlook cause of their size.

Chris Paul seems to saunter past people with no effort. Tony Parker continually beats players with sheer pace off the dribble.

I think Paul, Parker and Deron are as fast, or faster than anyone with the dribble.

The other guys seem(Ellis, Ford, Barbosa) are definitely faster without it though...

devin harris has to be up there, faster then parker at least. constantly beats him off the dribble and makes parker works with the ball

trust me, being quick with the ball doesnt mean you will always be quick on the defensive end.

I think Barbosa's the quickest without the ball

Parker's the quickest with the ball

Paul is the most deceptively quick

Ford has the best change of pace/acceleration

Ellis has the most unstoppable speed/athleticism/take off for a layup speed

Harris and Lindsey Hunter are up there for speed on D

Deron, LeBron can really motor with the ball on the break too...

people have posted the names of well-known players. But if it's for all players in the NBA, the 'quickest' might be Aaron Brooks.

If you go strictly by the 3/4 sprint times at Orlando, Sonny Weems and Nate Robinson have the fastest times (of players actually in the league) of 2.96 seconds.
