"The Lakers' summer league roster won't be finalized until Thursday, but they gave us a sneak-peak this afternoon. Here's a look at some of the names on the list:
Cedric Bozeman ... Former UCLA guard.
Joe Crawford ... Second-round pick in last month's draft from Kentucky.
Davon Jefferson ... Forward from USC.
Coby Karl ... Backup guard with the Lakers last season.
Marcelus Kemp ... Undrafted guard from Nevada.
Yi Li ... Forward from China.
Lorenzo Mata-Real ... Undrafted forward from UCLA.
Here's the Lakers' summer league schedule (all games in Las Vegas):
Friday vs. Detroit, 5 p.m., Cox Pavilion.

What The Hell i thought davon jeffeson decided to go back to school lol what a moron if he would have stayed at usc he might have been a lottery pick after he developed now he is undrafted and there is no way he is making a tam with 4 small forwards who are all used to 20+mins a game

Anyone think Sun Yue will be playing in the summer league or does the Chinese national team have something scheduled? Oh and has anyone ever heard of Yi Li?

I like the players we're working out. Davon Jefferson looked good to me in college, kind of a big bruiser type of swingman like Bonzi. Let's hope the draft combine and the draft B**** slapped in the face and he shows he wants it because he's got some nice physical tools. Overall, I'm stoked on our summer league roster. I mean we didn't have a 1st round pick, but I think some of these players have some dark horse potential (mainly Kemp and Jefferson). I root for an underdog like Coby Karl and everything, but honestly if either Yue, Crawford, Jefferson, or Kemp outperforms him... it may be goodbye.
