I say Deron Williams. His skillset would mesh nicely with that starting lineup. He can shoot but hes still very much a pass first guy who I jus think would work very well with Lebron an Kobe an crew.

Lets be real here guys, JKidd is more than likely going to be the starting PG. He is the leader of the team and there is no way that he will not be given the honors of starting the game for them.

Deron is currently my favorite NBA player, but Kidd is my choice to start on Team USA.
The Americans biggest advantage over their opponents will be their athleticism, which is most effectively used in fast break situations. Kidd is far superior to both Paul and Williams running the fastbreak (running the break is Deron's biggest weakness IMO). People need to forget how Kidd played in Dallas to end this season (ISO ISO ISO), and focus on how well the American offense functioned last summer in Vegas. Kidd was spectacular.
Kidd and Deron are also more suited to man up against the big point guards they'll be facing.
