Ford/Jack
Dunleavy/Rush
Granger/Williams
Murphy/Rasho or Hibbert
Foster/Rasho or Hibbert

Many really thing Rasho will start over Foster? Interesting... I hope he plays that well.

Foster and Murph can play 4 or 5. ignoring surprises and small ball, I'd look for Foster, Murph, and Rasho to be a three man rotation with Rasho only playing the five and Murph mainly the 4. Foster would be the 4 when paired sith Rasho and the 5 when paired with Murph.

My prediction for Lineup

Post#23 » by pacershereiam » Tue Jul 8, 2008 12:50 am

I think we will have the following for a roster:

Ford/Jack/Diener/Callaway
Dunleavy/Rush/Daniels
Granger/Williams/Graham
Murphy/McRoberts
Foster/Hibbert/Aleks Maric

Tinsley will be off no matter what.
Hulk isnt coming back

If Andre Owens can make the roster last year, then Earl Callaway can make it this year.

Our team sucked last year. I dont think Calloway makes it with us. I think you are forgetting about Nesterovic and Baston. I cant see us going into the season with that paltry big man rotation. I think Hibbert and Rasho split time at center, with Murphy and Foster splitting most of the minutes at power forward. I think Baston and McRoberts fight for the scrap minutes.

who is aleks maric???

The 15 man roster after we cut Tinskey stands at

Ford/Jack/Diener
Dunleavy/Rush/Daniels
Granger/Williams/Graham
Murphy/McRoberts/Baston
Foster/Hibbert/Nesterovic

We aren't cutting one of those contract players for a 4th PG who will never be activated

IS IT WEDNESDAY YET???? I think this thread will have to be revised because there are some moves that will be announced. Remember how Bird kept the GS trade close to the vest? Expect the same with how Tinsley goes down.

I think its a bit early to say a starting lineup for a few reasons.

1. We have not seen the rookies play yet and if they were to play well enough, I don't see it as out of the question to start 1, maybe even both.
2. Shawne Williams progression is a relative unknown.
3. Murphy has been a lost cause and I would hope the Pacers are praying that someone picks there game up enough to force Troy to get his minutes off the bench.

If I was going to take a guess, I would say...
TJ/Mike/Danny/Murphy/Foster

but I pray someone will step up and take Troy's spot. If not, I hope he plays great out of the gate so we can maybe get rid of him and receive some kind of value.
