Found this on the Chicago board

"Kirk Hinrich is a candidate to be shopped by the Bulls now that they drafted Derrick Rose.

Golden State is assumed to be atop the list of Hinrich suitors given the void created in the Warriors' backcourt by Baron Davis' departure.

But NBA front-office sources insist that there is some sentiment in the Bulls' organization to keep Hinrich and play him at shooting guard alongside Rose while trying to move restricted free agent Ben Gordon in a sign-and-trade to fill another Chicago need."

Is there any possiblity especially if we dont get maggs?

he would be a great SG for us. I know he is very expensive just like ellis but just wanted to see if it was possible I guess. Thief why would he not be the answer for this team even if we got him?

he's 6'1 and he's a SG, he cannot create for his teammates, he's not a play maker, while his ball handling and defense have gotten slightly better over the past season or two, they are still sub par in my book, and you are not allowed to have sub par defense, while being 6'1 and guarding the opposing teams 6'6+ SG...on top of the lack of fit for both the team and the system, he turned down a $50+ million dollar deal last season because he feels that he is worth more...Orlando will not drop that type of coin on him...

When someone offers you guranteed money.............take it!!!! LOL. Crazy how much money some of these guys lost themselves in a year by saying no. Deng, Gordon, Okafor, several others.

If I was Gordon I would have turned it down too. Its not like the Bulls are lacking in funds. You look at the money they paid Tyson and Ben Wallace and Ben Gordon role on the good Bull teams its tough for me to say he didn't deserve more.

I think Gordon defensively is better than given credit. Although he isn't as tall as Kirk Hinrich he actually longer. Gordon wingspan is 6'9 and with arms up he bigger than Kirk Hinrich. I really wouldn't have a problem with Gordon at SG if we had a bigger PG that could help him out on defense against bigger SGs.
