Watching CJ do permanent damage to the PG position makes me long for the THud era.

ok, he just got compared to cummings, nuff said. guess i didn't really pay too much attention to him off the bench last season, i was under the assumption he stood out in the D, like buke, maybe he can't adjust.

He did dominate the D-league, but the closest he'll ever be to a point guard is a Boobie Gibson/Damon Jones type.

Will he survive July 25?

Warriors can buy him out for $100,000 on that date (or before)

Otherwise his contract becomes guaranteed for approx $711,517

They seem to like him and that contract is for the minimum, so I'll say yes.

Also, from what I've read, they can cut him know for nothing and after the 25th it costs them 100K.

Bulls' Curry has a similar deal as CJ - cut them in July & it's $100,000. After July it is a guaranteed contract.

i dont think CJ can be cut for nothing anymore.

This is all i've seen,
Sham wrote:Also, C.J. Watson is under contract to the Warriors next year, for the minimum of $711,517. It's totally unguaranteed until July 25th, and even then it's only $100,000 guaranteed, but it's more than a mandatory roster charge.

Sham is the expert.

I stand corrected......
