More TPE fun:
ATL GETS: TPE (Gerald Green)
MIN GETS: Solomon Jones ($800,000 exp PF) + protected 1st
This gives ATL more money to make a run at keeping Josh Smith and maybe not have to renounce Childress. We could argue about the protections to balance value, but ATL could be much better next season.

Re: ATL-MIN
I wouldn't say no to this trade but if we make another trade I am hoping it will be for a point. Plus, I can't see the wolves keeping 4 first rounders next year anyways, thats four roster spots! I am sure some will be over seas picks or traded for future or present 2nd rounders... or sold.

Re: ATL-MIN
Does ATL have to renounce anybody to keep Smith or Childress? They should have bird rights so they can conceivably match any offer. Now would they match any offer given their history of being cheap? Probably not, especially if a couple large deals push them into luxury territory (no idea if they are close), but I don't think they have to worry about clearing up cap space.

Re: ATL-MIN
I'm getting conflicting info about whether Jones money is guaranteed or not. Obviously, if it is not, ATL would simply let him walk.
