Re: Your 2008-2009 Phoenix Suns
I know I will get flamed for this....
Blow up the team.
Amare for Josh Smith and Al Horford.
Barbosa and Tucker for Webster and #13
Diaw, #13, #15 for TJ Ford and Bargnani
Nash/TJ Ford
Bell/Webster
Smith/Hill
Horford/Bargnani
Shaq/Skinner or Kwame Brown (I prefer Brown)
We have a good mix of youth and experience. Our defense improves drastically, and we fill all of our needs. We lose a 26/10 guy, that will no doubt help the Hawks. But we will be deeper and overall more talented.
Flame away.

I'd like to see them split the MLE on Pietrus and Duhon/Lue

Re: Your 2008-2009 Phoenix Suns
I think we need to keep in perspective things like
A) The other team
B) Why do they do the trade?

Psh, TASTIC, stop spreading your "perspective" of being "fair" and "equal". That's not how a true RealGMer works

Re: Your 2008-2009 Phoenix Suns
nba_addict's Ultimate Suns Retooling Dream:
Barbosa for S. Jackson - GS will most likely take the path of rebuilding. Barbosa and Ellis backcourt is intruiging under Nellie's system. Suns improve defensively and bring-in a player with killer instinct. Jax expires in 2010.
Diaw for Humpries and Anthony Parker. Humps give us what Brian Skinner does. Though undersized his hustle, defense and rebounding is a big plus for this team. Humps contract expires in 2010. Anthony Parker is an expiring and good as gone next season because of huge offer to play overseas. Saves us half of Diaw's contract by 2009 and upgrade over what he had in Giricek. Not to mention AP is also an underrated defender. Another option is Humpries, Kapono and 2009 lottery protected 1st.
Skinner and Darius Miles for vet min. Insurance guys for injuries.
Nash / Drajic / Strawberry
Bell / Parker / Strawberry
Jackson / Hill / Tucker / Miles
Stoudamire / Humpries / Skinner
Shaq / Lopez / Skinner
Team Strengths and Win-Win Points:
- Four reliable 3pt snipers in Nash, Bell, Parker and Jackson who are more than capable of shooting at least 40% from the 3pt line.
- Gives the Suns an option to cut down Bell, Nash, Hill and Shaq's playing time. AP and Jacks can help on playmaking whenever Drajic and Straw handles the point.
- Suns second unit is a Anthony Parker/Grant Hill show.
- Shaq, Nash, Bell, Jackson and Humps all expires in 2010.
- Miles will kick Horry and Bowen's balls for every cheap shots they will do in the playoff.
- GS gets a player with good character for thier rebuilding. TOR gets their coveted prospect player.
- Sarver saves money.
- As for the Suns fan. See below.

I would very much enjoy all this to happen, I could see a banner and rings with that lineup.

Re: Your 2008-2009 Phoenix Suns
Yeah, that's a work of art. I prefer AP over Kapono for now although a first rounder is enticing since we actually recognize the NBA Draft now.
