Favorite Panther

Lets see where our interests lie. Let's see who your favorite Panther is.

Hands Down, Mine is DeAngelo Williams. As a U of M grad and season ticket holder. The man was golden. There has never been a player with his ability. As we saw with his return for a TD last year, and when he started for Foster, the man has skills. He should have started last year.

how can my favorite player not be steve smith? he's freaking amazing... he comes on morning sports page all the time... he's buddies with celania... and he's been the cornerstone of my fantasy teams for many years.

i the defensive side... i'm a big ken lucas fan... but its also hard not to be in love with peppers.

Yeah Ken Lucas' injury problems killed our D this year.. Even more than Morgan going out.. If Lucas, Gamble, and Marshall play healthy all year we could have one of the best defenses in the league..

And who remembers the Baltimore game? Just shows how great Smith is.. And I'm still looking for a copy of the Bears playoff game.. I still remember the shock of Smith scoring on the 2nd play of the game.. I've never seen a stadium that silent when Smith ran in the endzone.. Wow.. Good times.. And he is the best because he shows up in the big games, 8 TD in 7 career playoff games..

That was so sad...

At the moment, I'd have to say Morgan. I just think he's a good example of a veratile linebacker who gets the job done with none of that other crap. He doesn't need a shoe deal to crush you, you know?

I'm also a huge Jon Kasay fan. He won me a playoff pool back in 1996/1997. (I wasn't unhappy to see the Packers win that NFC Final though. I liked both teams.)

JP. The freakishly gifted DE out of the little town of Bailey, NC. Population 100.  That guy is a beast at the DE spot. When his career is over he will be one of the best if not the best to play the game.

I still love Gamble from his Buckeye days--he's as responsible as anyone for that national title. IMO he is primed for a very good season, he worked hard on his hip fluidity this offseason, should help his break out of his backpedal.

I'm a big Jeff King guy too.

This is tough...real tough. I have to go with my boy Peppers. It just sucks that he is always get doubleteamed out there so its hard to see him do what he does best every week.
