Come on man even you can't believe the crap you just typed? The players agent does exactly what the player wants. The last thing Hossa wanted to do was go back to Pittsburgh. He wanted to go to a team where he could win, get paid and become a high priced free agent again the following season. Hossa did what cowards like him normally do stand behind their agent so he does'nt have to be the bad guy! By the way not a Penguins fan just stating the obvious.

Hossa was a free agent. He stirred the pot a little, but in the end, thought it was the better decision to take the short contract and win now. Get paid later. It is his right as a free agent to do whatever he wants. Sure you can be mad, but don't wish harm on the guy.

Hossa took a one-year deal so we could resign Zetterberg and Franzen. Once those two are under contract, Holland is saying he'll try to get Hossa more years.

Hossa and his agent made a very bad decision. They shouldn't have told the Pens to do everything they did to try and sign him when he had his mind made up on Detroit. He should have told Shero from the beginning, if Detroit offers him a contract, then he would sign with them.

That way, the Pens could have worried about Hossa less and went after some other free agents.

And it is dumb for Hossa to take a 1 year contract. What if he does get a career ending injury. With a long term deal, all that money is guaranteed.

It happens man.

A few years back the bruins had the most money to spend coming out of the lockout. Guys like forsberg, modano and others were the Key Free agents. Pronger was also on the trade block I believe. Mike O'Connell went after modano, my favorite player. Modano kept MOC waiting, and raised the price of dallas offer, Modano played moc like a fool, and by the time it was over, forsberg, pronger, all gone. The bruins had to settle for old Brian Leetch, and that waste of space alexi zhamnov. Am I going to blame modano for helping himself get more money from dallas, no, I was pissed, but it is part of the game. Now who knows what would have happened if modano would have not done so, and forsberg would have been ours, or pronger, then maybe we don't start off on a losing streak and trade thornton for utter crap, and samsonov for next to nothing.

Like I said, it happens man, Be mad. Just don't wish harm on the guy. That is plain cold.

I was just PO'ed. I don't really hope he gets hurt. I just hope the Pens play Detroit again, Orpik unleashes another 4 hits in 19 secs to Hossa and in the end, Hossa gets to watch Sid and Co. hoisting the cup. That would be terrific.

By the way, the Pens are a very tight group.

Quick update on Orpik. He did not get a NTC but got a 2 year promise and a limited movement clause. I'm also hearing he was almost out the door until he got calls from Scuderi, Whitney, Crosby, Letang, Fleury, Talbot and Kennedy begging him to stay. --very tight group

Good thing Brooks stayed. My jersey is still in.

They lost campbell. But San Jose really improved their defense today. Signing Rob Blake. And about to trade for Dan Boyle.

Rangers, how are they always making splashes in FA? Sure they lost out on Jagr, to russia. But Wade Redden and Markus Naslund, damn.

Boyle better have one damn good year, in value the Sharks gave up three first round picks to get him.

We didn't even offer that much when Kevin Lowe was proposing Pronger to us.

Jay Feaster resigns as Tampa GM. So, the most active team this offseason, completely changes the makeup of the team, and he resigns. Huh.

With more and more of these deals popping up, the very worst one just maybe the first one. 15 YEARS? Rrrrright.

15 years for Rick DiPietro at 4.5 million cap hit is going to look like a huge steal if he pans out the way he is suppose to.
