Post#1 » by skartch1t » Fri Jul 11, 2008 7:41 pm

so where is elgin in this whole process, seems like he snuck into a cave and never came out. So far i only heard dunleavy speak for the clippers.

ELGIN= PUPPET

If anything i would like dun father to slip in to the GM role and hire a new coach..

Clippers president Andy Roeser has also spoken out.

Roeser said the Clippers came in with one strategy, then made the necessary adjustments when the game changed.

"We came up with a plan to basically give Elton $70 million and Baron $65 million," Roeser said. "We were given to understand that that was workable. After we were given to understand it wasn't, we tried to make a better offer."

Why would you want to do that. I never get tired of those shots of Elgin sitting courtside with those groovy sweaters he wears.

You mean groovy in a Dr. Huxtable way, right?

No, you don't understand. Elgin's title may be GM, but he was actually hired to be a puppet.

So if that's what it appears he's been the last few days, well, he's doing his assigned job.

He's also getting Sterling coffee, no one else knows how much cream and sugar Sterling likes, so Baylor is sorta irreplaceable.

^ I really do think that Elgin spends the majority of his time in the office napping, and when a deal is being made, Dunleavy pokes him and tells him about it before he drifts off to sleep again.

I think Sterling is keeping Elgin around because he feels sorry for him. We all know Mike Dunleavy has been GM since he got here. Elgin only wakes up for public appearances like Baron's press conference. :lol:
