Getting 1 hit by Halladay through 7.

Joba looked filthy today, though.

yea, joba did well actually, but when your team can only get 1 hit vs halliday, then you are doomed.. and don't be fooled. Halliday is good but we have been getting owned by pitchers who are bums, guys like maholm.. so good or bad pitching, our bats just suck....

we will take this loss, tamap is losing again, and the sox are down, so maybe we get lucky tonight and don't lose ground..

I don't have a problem with getting shut down by Halladay, he is an elite pitcher, but when you get shut down by the Lesters, Perez's and Maholms of the world, that is a big problem, and it is coming back to hurt us.

Our bats are as bad as I can ever remember right now. Being a fan since the early-mid 80's the lineup has never been the problem it has been this year especially the past month. I don't even know how they can fix it at this point. Not knowing when Matsui/Damon will be back makes our lineup very suspect. We need to find a right handed hitting outfielder that can play LF or CF. This is getting ridiculous!
All-Time Draft

PG- Oscar Robertson/Bob Cousy
SG- Earl Monroe/James Harden/Dana Barros
SF- Billy Cunningham/Michael Finley/Chet Walker
PF- Elvin Hayes/Dolph Schayes/Tom Chambers/Danny Manning
C- Walt Bellamy/Neil Johnston/Darryl Dawkins

what about Holliday?

What are the chances we can land him?
I know the Mets have shown interest in him but we clearly are in a better position to land him than them.

Let's win one for Bobby today. AJ Burnett is pitching on 3 days rest so let's hope that hurts his game. Why they would pitch him on 3 days rest when he has a history of injuries is beyond me but hey I ain't complaining!

another good pitcher, and our bats turn to dust.... this is why we can't win the in the playoffs of late... good pitching just eats us up...

if this were a first round series vs the jays, the would wipe the floor with us using Halliday and burnett, we just can't beat good pitching... Not even close.... good, not even great pitching dominates us...
