One of his TOs came off a steal and his momentum took him out of bounds.

The game was very sloppy as a whole with many TOs coming from bad passes from the players. The game showed that it was a group of young guys playing together for the first time.

Why don't we make a Wally Watch, a KG Watch, and a Hassell Watch thread while we're at it. We traded them, get over it.

Wow you guys must feel bad for trading Mayo. This guy is going to be a star, 25/5/5 in a couple years. Kevin Love will be 10/10 at best IMO.

Even if Mayo turns into a great player, people are only going to compare Mayo to Love. No one cares that we got Miller, got rid of Jaric's fat contract, and Walker's bad attitude.

I do feel bad about trading Mayo, but summer league is a joke when it comes to established NBA talent. It's good (alright anyway) for evaluating fringe NBA talent and D-Leaguers, but plenty an NBA guard have lit it up in summer league. Lakers fans anointed Javaris Crittendon the next D-Wade after summer league. Randy Foye had moments where he looked like Jesus. Acie Law. Jose Juan Barea. Nate Robinson. Justin Reed. Tyrus Thomas. All looked like they could be NBA stars. And that's just in the last couple years. It's summer league, not the NBA. Keep it in you pants.

Make this a DeAndre Jordan watch in my honor as well. Man, I hope I am wrong about this kid being sick-wit-it.

watching clippers-mavericks right now on nba.com
some familiar faces: gerald green (with a monster dunk already and some pretty bad d on thornton), richie frahm, dwane casey (coach for dallas).
clips dominating in 1st quarter.
deandre jordan looks good.

Bellineli exploded in his debut on SL last year and went downhill from there. Can we add b.Lopez to the watch list? He's been pretty solid in orlando. I thought we should have drafted him instead of love.

I think you're right. Didn't Bracey Wright dominate Summer League, too? I have to admit, I don't pay much attention.

I'm kind of sad for the people that want to dwell on this kind of negative stuff, and start a thread like this. I would expect Mayo to be good, because we got good players back for him. It reminds me of the RubeChat board, where even in the face of the Carney/1st for a TPE trade, some posters felt they should include the fact that McHale blew the 28th pick five years ago.

Some people can never be happy and always view the cup as being half empty. Others have issues with forgiveness or "getting over it" and can never let bygones be bygones. They have set up McHale as the object of their discontent and even when he does something correct and has been praised by experts, they readily dismiss it and reassociate/reconnect the situation with something that most would agree was an error. These are Watsonian wet dreams---they literally believe that they are going to get the "hot girl" because they buy the "hot car".
