No, but you should feel pity for poor HCYanks for having to put up with that board and everybody on it.

Ok, Yanks bringing in Pettitte in relief, so much for Yankees fans saying "it's just April"...

Real desperate move by the Yanks. I could see if Pettitte hadn't pitched much of Friday, but jeez he threw 100 pitches.

I figured it was Pettitte's throw day, so they brought him in for an inning. But if it wasn't I can't put Torre past doing something that (Please Use More Appropriate Word).

Great start for the Sox, hopefully the bottom order can get them in.

Joe Morgan classic...

"Proctor matches up really well with Drew because he doesn't really have slow stuff. Drew is an excellent fastball and hard stuff hitter."

Jeez Jeter had no shot there. 3 pitches at 98 and 1 at 99.

Mr. April couldn't get the job done. Great job by Paps in the 9th.

Very nice sweep.

The gun was juiced, Paps doens't throw that hard. I caught one of Daisuke's strikeouts at 97 on EPSN but 94 in the stadium and that's usually where he is. And if he's throwing at 96 and doesn't have that extra "pop" that Morgan was blabbing about, then I don't see how he ever could because he can't throw 99. I believe the gun was juiced a few MPH. mahalo

I was at the game; Papelbon didn't top 97 MPH (hit 97 once) and was at 95-96 just about every pitch (well, every fastball). Dice-K hit 95 once and was working anywhere from 91-94 for most of the game. The guns are definitely juiced.
