does anyone know if Dee Brown's last contract with the Jazz was guaranteed. The Wizards just signed Brown to a 2 year offer sheet at the minimum (partially guaranteed) and the Jazz aren't matching.
Clearly the Jazz gave Brown a QO, since he's restricted, so I'm wondering how much of that QO is guaranteed (since the percentage of the QO that's guaranteed must be the same as the last year of the previous contract). If it's fully guaranteed, I'm surprised Brown didn't just accept the QO and take the extra $175,000 for this year.

Dee Brown's last contract with the Jazz was non-guaranteed. That's why there was no risk to Utah in offering him a QO.
