Sonny Weems had a stellar debut for the Nuggets with 17 points on 8-of-15 shooting from the field.
Why did he play just 20 min.?

Summer League team is a NBA team microcosm... 11 assists, 28% from the three... Karl's hand all over it!

Re: Summer League Games
From my observation of the game, Elton Brown has to be looked closely the rest of the tournament. He got patrolled by 7 footers Marreese Speights and Jason Smith but more than held his own rebounding wise on both ends and he has high awareness offensively as far as positioning. He can get to the line and knock down some shots too.
Sonny Weems has a bigger frame than J.R. Smith and he scores like Shawn Marion and is very athletic but we'll see if he can keep it up.
Taurean Green's game will not improve if he keeps being lazy... he's just a spectator when he doesn't have the ball. He needs to be more assertive and read game situations much better. He's got skills but indications are they're going to waste.
We better not reserve a roster spot for Dahntay Jones because his game is best suited for this time of year's games not the real ones.
