SL: Lakers vs Memphis on NBATV 5pst

Yeah so the game is about to start... Our roster completely sucks compared to Memphis, but at least we get to see Mayo, Crittenton, Conley, and Darrell Arthur. Hopefully Davon Jefferson plays. I'm really bummed that Yue isn't playing in the summer league.

I'm getting my Coby! mvp chants ready.

And I finally get to see Joe Crawford in action. The next JR Pinnock? Von Wafer? Coby Karl? Maybe we'll get lucky and he'll be better.

I just wonder will the Lakers pay for the Pau G. trade down the line. We traded last years #1 pick in Critt. We traded this years #1 and the #1 pick in 2 years. That means we have traded 3 out of 4 #1 picks. Pau is a great player. Just hate to see all those new players that would have been the back bone of the lakers in a few years get traded away. Hope it does not come back and bite us in the future.

Critt will be a very good player. Maybe better than Farmer.

Do you think The Lakers will find an allstart player at the end of the first round? Besides the Lakers get a Memphis 2nd round pick and as bad as memphis is it will be a high second round pick.

It's 10:30Pm Sunday night the game is being replayed
on NBA TV right now, 4th quarter is starting right now.
There is a skinny asian guy on the bench I'm like that can't be Yue, but it's Yi Lee.

Hermes,
There just playing different groups every game, the main reason the Lakers have the biggest roster in Vegas, PT is limited.

Joe C looks smaller than 6-4, as does OJ Mayo he looks 6-3. That one Laker, the Dleague MVP, D Mitchell is pretty darn good...He ripped OJ on a excessive dribble on the top of the key OJ fell down trying to get the ball back and D Mitch went 3/4 court for a phi slamma jam. There was another Laker waiting for the ball directly under the basket once D Mitch passed half court, that he never acknowledged, lol. I liked it, the coach prolly didn't.

LAS VEGAS – O.J. Mayo dribbled between his legs once, twice, and that’s all Dwayne Mitchell needed to see. Suddenly Mitchell was ripping the ball from Mayo’s hands, racing downcourt and punching in a thunderous dunk that brought the crowd at UNLV’s Cox Pavilion to its feet.

The Memphis Grizzlies’ much-celebrated rookie had just been embarrassed by a D-Leaguer. Admire your dribble too long, even in the NBA Summer League, and you likely won’t keep it. The turnover was one of six Mayo committed Sunday evening against the Los Angeles Lakers. Mayo also had a shot thrown back by Coby Karl, rarely an indicator of greatness, even if the building’s public-address announcer mistakenly hailed the Lakers’ guard as “Kobe Bryant.”

Mayo doesn’t figure to be inviting similar comparisons just yet. He’s been sloppy with the ball at times, evidenced by the 18 turnovers he’s totaled, and he had to grind through his third game in as many nights. The Grizzlies, however, aren’t complaining. Mayo also contributed 15 points and five assists against the Lakers, and he’s distinguished himself as one of the best players in the Summer League, however hollow that might sound considering the absence of Derrick Rose and Michael Beasley. He’s shot well, making eight of his 13 three-point attempts, and shown the ability to make plays for himself and his teammates. More than anything, Mayo has shown he belongs.
