Since pretty much the players the CAVS were looking at are gone.. i'm bored and thought it would be interesting to see what this fetches us.
Lakers gave:
Kwame (expiring)
Crit (prospect)
Marc Gasol (prospect)
Aaron Mckie
and 2 1st
for
Pau Gasol
2010 2nd
Cleveland gives:
Wally (expiring)
Boobie or AV (I don't think we'd trade Boobie, so let's go with AV)
Sasha Kaun
and 2 1st
for
???????
Our picks are usually a little better than LA's and AV and Boobie are probably better prospects than Crit but Marc Gasol is better than Kaun..
Just felt like doing this cuz i was bored (and yes i know many people said LA got away like bandits)..

You're going to have to wait until the season starts and see which teams are tanking because no one needs expiring contracts in July.

Hopefully we can get Boozer back but then they may want us to throw in Wallace to get AK off the books.

Boozer & AK are staying in Utah. They like their team, and as long as Sloan is coaching, they won't be dealing any of their better players unless their is a REAL problem with one of them. Last year AK had some issues, but those were worked-out, so I expect him to stay-put.

Doesn't Boozer only have a year or two left on his contract- so we bring him back so he can screw us again. You guys must like taking it hard in the.. well you know where.

Iverson. But it'll cost you Varejao, Pavlovic and Gibson.

I don't see us giving up all three of those guys for Iverson.

Re: The Gasol Deal- Cleveland style
I'd marvel at how old the Cavs team would be with a move that'd get rid of those 3. There is virtually no chance that the Cavs move Gibson since he is like LeBron's little brother.

This assumes there's another team as cheap and stupid as the Griz front office was. I even doubt Memphis agrees to such a follow up now.....well...maybe Darko.
CENSORED... No comment.

Re: The Gasol Deal- Cleveland style
Well he did say that he probably could've gotten a better deal.. but the move was done mainly for financial purposes. and with a young team he was trying to build gasol didn't fit in that much.. i think considering finances and what not, the deal was not that bad. They did get a couple prospects and a couple firsts along with the savings.
