Why not bring back these two?? Evans/House

Maurice Evans and Eddie House are now free agents from their respective teams.(Magic and Celtics) The Kings had them in the past and I would love to see them both come back to Sacramento to build up our bench. Both of them are very capable of coming off of the bench and putting up good numbers for us every night. I think that Eddie House is a potential 6th man of year award winner. And Maurice Evans could provide a spark when the Kings need it.

Hey, whats going on man. Unfortunately, neither of these guys would really suit the kings' needs. House is fairly old now and nowhere near 6th man of the year potential (take it easy on pounding him for that one) and evans plays a position where we are stacked. Currently we have 4 guys that would play above evans every day of the week at either the two or three position (Martin, Garcia, Artest, Salmons), so bringing him back would be nice, but not needed. And to top this all off, we have $0 in our account after signing beno. So would I like to see these two guys back? Yes. Will they? no.

We might need Evans if we trade Artest and get no help at the SF position. But I don't think the Kings are dumb enough to pull that off...hopefully. Evans was a great talent but the Kings let him slip away. (Gerald Wallace coming to mind) I hate how our organization never changes. I do not think the Kings will make the playoffs until after 2010 (expiration of Kenny Thomas' contract and the biggest free agency period in a while).

Garcia and Salmons are pretty solid guys to play the 3. Evans would then be a third stringer making more money that half of our roster. And I am not sure where the relevance is in talking about the playoffs? You lost me there

Both unnecessary, both would potentially hurt our cap plans and wouldn't be worth it. Evans is a bad starter/decent bench player at best in this league. Even if we trade Ron, he won't see any minutes here.
