That first trade makes no sense. Rudy Gay is a great player and the Grizzlies will not trade him for Diaw and Barbosa. They don't even need a Barbosa type player. They are stacked at the guard spot.

That second trade is pretty interesting though. I am not sure how Min values Carney seeing as they just got him. How long do they have to wait to trade him again?

I would do the first trade, but I wouldn't trade for Carney based on what I've seen out of him...if, and only if you're convinced that Tucker/Strawberry have no future in the nba. Don't care about signing Lue, I'd prefer to look elsewhere.

MIN sees him as a wild card. They have several options at SG/SF, with McCants, Miller, Corey Brewer, Gomes and Carney.

Carney, like any player who was recently traded, can be traded at any time as long as he's not combined with another player.

According to McHale, the wolves aren't done making moves yet, and are looking for a PG and a combo guard. I don't know about Strawberry though -- they might want someone more experienced, since they don't have any other PG on the team besides Foye.

Lmfao. You need to think about salaries and everything man, and even if they do match, these trades are ridiculous. Carney wouldn't mean anything to us if we got Gay. And We are trying to get a 2 for 1 or 4 for 2 deal not give 2 for 1. We need to fill the roster, not empty it.

Memphis would never do the first trade, and there's no reason for PHX to do the second.

I'm surprised no MEM fans have given you grief about trying to move that for Gay...he's a legit star in the making,...I think Gay/Mayo/Conley is a star trio in the future and will be a force within 3 years if they're all still there...
