I was thinking about parting with Bogans, Cook, maybe a 2010 lottery protected 1st for him. I know he has the attitude problem sometimes but his defense is amazing. He could bring that toughness and maybe rub a little of it off on to howard. Just a thought.

I think I just threw up in my mouth a little from the mere thought of it.

I'd hate him on this team. V.good player when he wants to be, unfortunatly he prefers to be a problem.

We'd have to give up Hedo - even if he, touch wood he doesnt, goes back to being inconsitent and the turkoflu then he'd still, imo, be more rewarding for this team.

Personally I'd persue Odom - but if LA are really after Marion you have to think that Odom will be in that deal [ironically sending him back to Miami no less].

If Marion was to go to LA and Miami got Odom any shot we could lure him away from Miami without invoving Hedo?

Didn't we just sign a sf for 118 million last year? WE NEED A PF.

I don't think another year at PF is good for Lewis or the Magic. In the western conference is was ok for him because western teams play at a faster run & gun pace for the most part. Here in the east, it's very grind-out play. He'd get almost 7 rpg in Seattle. He's now down 5. This also affected his driving. He seemed to tired at times to drive to the basket against other sf. WE NEED A PF.

I love him...but for the greater good....trade Turk to Clips for THORNTON & LIVINGSTON.

I don't like it at all.

We already have Lewis and Turkoglu, even Pietrus can play SF, we don't need Artest.

Even if we keep Lewis at PF most of the time, we need at least a good backup for the position. Battie will help a little, but we need more. Not to mention the PG hole we have right now.

Bad, bad idea.

I wouldnt give up Hedo for Artest, let alone throw in another player, hell I think I'd only trade JJ for him just to trade Artest in the future - even if it was for a "downgrade" in talent but a team need.

I just dont want this guy any where near our squad.

He's one bad dream away from holding a bus hostage imo.

We don't need to add another SF. If we are going to make a big trade I would like it to be for a PF like Udonis Haslem.

Besides Artest is just a cancer that you do not want on your team.

A blockbuster which would probably involve us sending Hedo and JJ out, Artest going to NY and David Lee coming to us. D'Antoni is not high on Lee. NY wants Artest.

The problem is that the Magic already have a log-jam at starting SF. With Pietrus, there now is no longer a need at SG either. Artest can't play PF, so ......

If we get Tinsley, he might take a shot at Artest... but I don't think that's they type of shot you were thinking of.

Now this is something I'd love to see happen. And quite possible.
