No offense grizzleGm, the rumor right now is Gasol+the 5th for the 3rd. That is a big difference from Gasol+lowry+28th for the 3rd. You cannot honestly tell me you see value in your trade.

If Gasol were in this year's draft he would be the #1 C on the board above Lopez.

Will it surprise me to see Gasol, #5 for the #3 if Beasley is available? No, but only because it plays into Wallace wanting to be able to say that he could not have made the blockbuster trade without this certain piece of the Pau trade.

I think it is hard to believe that the Grizz would give up Gasol and the #5 for Mayo....

Would Minny do Gasol, Conley, #28 for #3?

Conley does not do much for us (I think, My opinion--not sourced) we like Foye as the pg. We want to add a 3/2 playmaker and a 4/5 to help Al.

You think Gasol is the top center on the board. That is interesting. He has tools, he has size, etc. But even if you see him above Lopez (a player 4 years younger) I think Love is a better big prospect also. I could see an argument for Gasol as a 12-8 range, but not a top 5 pick this year.

Gasol and the 5 could be for Beasley. No idea.

I wasn't for sure if Foye is the type of guard that would/could slide to the SG if you had a true PG? We don't get to see many T'Wovles games down here in Memphis.

If I were a gambling man, I would bet that the Knicks end up trying to swap with Minny and the Grizz try swapping with Miami.

Obviously I would love to end up with either Beasley or Love to add to this core:

Conley

Gay
Beasley/Love
MGasol

Which the most realistic scenario is to stay at #5 and draft Love.

For Memphis to make the trade with Minny, they would be giving up their future starting C(Gasol) & PF(Love) for a SG(Mayo). I know that McHale has a fascination with Love, but the Grizz would have to believe that Mayo is going to be a SUPERSTAR to make this trade.

And I believe he'll be one of the better young centers this side of the pond in the upcoming season...
